Koiran jouluhuivi ja pandapipo *Christmas scarf of dog and panda hat*

Mietiskelin jouluaattoaamuna mitä laitan joulupöytään päälle, samalla rakas lemmikkimme Nappe (shetlanninlammaskoira) tassutteli ohi ja tajusin, ettei Napelle ole mitään jouluaiheista rekvisiittaa. Olin aikaisemmin himoinnut joulukorttikuvaa Napesta pehmoporonsarvissa, mutta eipä löytynyt sarvia ja luntakin oli heikonlaisesti, joten se jäi toteuttamatta. Niinpä sitten muutenkin niin "rauhallisen" jouluaattoaamun ja -päivän kulutin Napelle huivia neuloen. Malli muuttui sitä mukaan kun työ edistyi. Tässä huivi omistajineen :) 

*The morning of the Christmas Eve I was thinking what I'm going to were to the Christmas dinner table, when our beloved pet Nappe (Shetland sheepdog) walked by and I realized he didn't have any Christmasy to wear. Earlier I had wanted to have Christmas card picture of Nappe with soft reindeer antlers, but I didn't find any and there weren't any snow on the ground, so I had to forget that. So there I spent the morning of the Christmas Eve knitting a scarf for Nappe. The model changed as the project went forward. Here's the scarf with its owner :)*

Narut tein i-cord -tekniikalla, joita olin treenannut hiuspantoihin. Huiviosaan loin 30 silmukkaa, joita kavensin aina molemmissa päissä oikeaa puolta. Tuli tuo "N"-kirjainkin neulottua, ettei jää epäselväksi kenen huivista on kyse... Lopuksi vielä virkkasin huiviosan reunat pikapikaa siistimmäksi. Lankana sama Novitan 7 veljestä kuin joulukorteissa ja puikot 4.

*I made the cords with i-cord technique, which I learned when doing headbands. I cast on 30 stitches for the scarf part and decreased in both ends on the right side. I also knitted "N", just to make sure everyone knows whose scarf it is. I finalized the scarf by crocheting the edges to make it look neat. The yarn was the same than in Christmas cards and needles 4 mm.*

Tämä pandapipo ei suinkaan ole omatekemä, vaan sain sen poikaystävältäni. Oli vaan ihan pakko päästä esittelemään!
